Report: Branden Albert ruled out for the season

Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Branden Albert is reportedly ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury sustained in his side's defeat to the Detroit Lions.

Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Branden Albert has been ruled out for the rest of the season, according to a report.

The 30-year-old sustained a knee injury in his side's defeat to the Detroit Lions in the second quarter of the match.

The initial prognosis of the injury has dictated that the left tackle will miss the rest of the campaign, although an MRI scan will be performed when he returns to the club's base in Miami, reports ProFootballTalk.com.

Albert joined the Dolphins in the off-season from the Kansas City Chiefs and played in all nine of their matches this season.
