Gus Bradley: 'Marqise Lee must be more precise'

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley believes that wide receiver Marqise Lee could have been more consistent during his debut for the team.

Gus Bradley has said that Marqise Lee could have been "more precise" during his debut for the Jacksonville Jaguars earlier this week.

The wide receiver was not targeted during the 16 snaps that he played in the team's 16-10 pre-season win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Friday.

The head coach told the Florida Times-Union: "I think that's one of those things we're looking at, it's the consistency. Run your routes [like the football] is coming to you.

"You can't change speeds. You can't choose when and when not to. I've told you before that I've seen him switch to where he's more focused.

"I'd like to visit with him about what happened [Friday]. He did play good, but he could have done some things even more precise. It wasn't exactly where we need him to be."

The 22-year-old was a second-round pick in the NFL Draft earlier this year.
