Vince Wilfork looking forward to playing with JJ Watt

Houston Texans defensvie tackle Vince Wilfork admits that he is relishing the opportunity to play alongside All-Pro JJ Watt after joining the club.

Vince Wilfork has revealed that the prospect of playing alongside JJ Watt convinced him to sign with the Houston Texans.

The 33-year-old was allowed to leave the New England Patriots at the end of the 2014 season after being told that his option for the 2015 campaign would not be used.

Wilfork had several suitors around the league, but opted to sign for the Texans on a two-year deal to play with the All-Pro on the defensive line of the AFC South outfit.

"My goal is to let JJ be JJ," Wilfork told the club's official website. "I'm pretty sure the coaching staff is going to feel the same way, when you have a guy that dynamic.

"You can't ask him to change anything. He's been a beast, and hopefully he'll continue to be that beast and I'm looking forward to it."

Wilfork recorded 516 tackles, 16 sacks and three interceptions in his 11 years with the Patriots.
