Aaron Rodgers: 'Eddie Lacy impact has been vital'

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers admits that having running back Eddie Lacy in his side makes him "smile".

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has hailed the impact of rookie running back Eddie Lacy at his side this season.

The 23-year-old has run for 270 yards in four games this campaign including a 120-yard performance in his side's victory over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

Rodgers told ESPN: "Eddie as a runner is underrated when it comes to being elusive. I mean he has the ability to make guys miss in the hole.

"And when you pair that with some great power, he's the kind of back who makes you smile."

The Packers are 3-2 in their season after week six.
