Report: Green Bay Packers' Jordy Nelson sustains torn ACL

A report suggests that Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson has suffered a torn ACL which could rule him out of the 2015 season.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson has sustained a torn ACL, according to a report.

The incident occurred in the Packers' 24-19 pre-season loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers when he turned after catching the ball from quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Nelson limped off the field and was taken to the medical room for a diagnosis, and preliminary results suggested that the All-Pro had torn his ACL in his right knee, reports NFL Network.

The Packers are waiting on the results from an MRI scan when they return to Green Bay to confirm the 30-year-old's status for the 2015 season.

Nelson has recorded 400 receptions for 6,109 yards and 49 touchdowns in his seven years in the NFL.
