Denver Broncos guard Louis Vasquez has admitted that he is motivated by his side's loss in the Super Bowl to go out and win the NFL championship in the 2014 season.
The Broncos were hammered in the title game by the Seattle Seahawks as their record-breaking offense mustered just eight points at MetLife Stadium.
Vasquez told the Denver Post: "For me, I took it as motivation. Regardless of the result — even if we had won the Super Bowl, the motivation would have been to duplicate that.
"But since we didn't come out on top, it's something that adds a little more fuel to your fire. Gives you something to think about a little more."
Denver open their 2014 season against the Indianapolis Colts on September 7.
