Denver Broncos confirm Michael Huff signing

The Denver Broncos confirm that they have signed free agent safety Michael Huff to replace the injured Rahim Moore on their roster.

The Denver Broncos have confirmed that they have completed the signing of free agent defensive back Michael Huff.

The 30-year-old was available after being released by the Baltimore Ravens last month after failing to impress since signing from the Oakland Raiders.

Denver snapped him up after losing safety Rahim Moore for the rest of the regular season as a result of being placed on injured reserve designated to return, and Huff will replace him on the roster for the foreseeable future.

The Broncos' vice-president of football operations John Elway told the club's official website: "[He's] a veteran that's played in this league for a long time and [we] thought that in a pinch he's going to be able to come in and help us.

Huff has made 444 tackles and 11 interceptions in his eight years in the NFL after being drafted in the first round of the 2006 Draft.
