Half-Time Report: Philip Rivers, Keenan Allen combine to edge San Diego Chargers in front

Rivers, Allen edge Chargers in front

San Diego Chargers have come from behind to lead the Denver Broncos 17-10 at half time at Sports Authority Field.

The home side are 11-2 at the top of the AFC West and looking for a third win in a row, while Mike McCoy's side are bidding to go 7-7 for their season.

The Broncos took the lead early in the first quarter when Peyton Manning found Andre Caldwell for a 15-yard touchdown, but Nick Novak got the Chargers on the board with a 38-yard field goal.

Matt Prater re-established a seven-point cushion for the Broncos before the end of the first quarter, but the second belonged to the visitors.

Philip Rivers threw two touchdown passes to Keenan Allen, sending John Fox's men into the break trailing for the third-straight game.
