DeMarcus Ware fined for Ben Roethlisberger hit

DeMarcus Ware has reportedly been fined $15,750 (£9,700) for a hit on Ben Roethlisberger last weekend.

The Dallas Cowboys linebacker smacked the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback in the back of the head in the fourth quarter of their game on Sunday.

Ware was penalised by the officials for roughing the passer following the hit.

The Cowboys went on to win the game in overtime.
