Report: Cleveland Browns, Kyle Shanahan part company

A report suggests that Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan leaves the club after just one season, along with quarterbacks coach Dowell Loggains.

Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan has left the club, according to a report.

The 35-year-old only joined the club in February last year and had relative success this season despite being without All-Pro wide receiver Josh Gordon for the majority of the campaign, while quarterbacks Brian Hoyer and Johnny Manziel struggled for consistency.

However, Shanahan and the Browns have decided to part ways, with reports suggesting that he didn't like having the switch to Manziel from Hoyer forced on him at a late stage of the season, claims NFL Network.

Quarterbacks coach Dowell Loggains has also left the club after a one-season tenure, while Shanahan is also poised to interview for the vacant head coaching position at the Buffalo Bills.
