Sammy Watkins: 'Josh Gordon partnership would be ideal'

Former Clemson Tigers wide receiver Sammy Watkins believes that a partnership with Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon would be a "nightmare" for NFL defenses.

Former Clemson Tigers wide receiver Sammy Watkins believes that it would be a "nightmare" for defenses if he was selected by the Cleveland Browns to play alongside Josh Gordon.

The 20-year-old is considered the best prospect at wide receiver in the upcoming 2014 NFL Draft and is tipped to be picked in the 10 after an impressive career in the college game.

"I'd kind of take some pressure off him with double coverage and [opponents] flipping the coverage to his side," Watkins told reporters. "It would become a nightmare [for defenses]."

Watkins recorded 101 receptions for 1,456 yards along with 12 touchdowns in the 2013 season for the Tigers.
