Steve Smith, Jonathan Stewart questionable for Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers have announced that wide receiver Steve Smith and running back Jonathan Stewart are questionable for their NFC divisional playoff clash with the San Francisco 49ers.

Smith sprained his PCL in his side's win over the New Orleans Saints last month and is now a major doubt to face the 49ers at Bank of America Stadium after struggling in his side's practice sessions.

Stewart has played just six games this season as he has been struggling with a knee injury, but he has practised this week and has a chance of featuring for Ron Rivera's side.

Defensive tackle Colin Cole is also questionable, while safety Quintin Mikell and tight end Ben Hartsock are probable.
