John Harbaugh "excited" about Owen Daniels signing

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh admits that he is "excited" about the signing of tight end Owen Daniels on a one-year deal.

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh has revealed that the club have got "big plans" for new signing Owen Daniels.

Daniels penned a one-year deal with the Ravens following his release by the Houston Texans earlier in the off-season.

"Just couldn't be more happy, more excited. I guarantee his role will be plenty big," Harbaugh told reporters.

"He's going to have a lot to do with our success next year, and we've got a lot of big plans for him."

The 31-year-old recorded 24 receptions for 252 yards along with three touchdowns in just five games for the Texans last season.
