Joe Flacco tears ACL

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco will miss the rest of the 2015 NFL season after tearing his ACL in the win over the St Louis Rams.

The Baltimore Ravens have announced that starting quarterback Joe Flacco tore his ACL during the team's 16-13 win over the St Louis Rams this evening.

The 30-year-old finished the game despite picking up the injury, helping set the team up for a late field goal to clinch the victory at the M&T Bank Stadium.

Head coach John Harbaugh confirmed in his post-game press conference that the former Super Bowl MVP will miss the remainder of the 2015 season as a result of the injury.

Flacco has not missed a regular season game since being drafted by the Ravens in 2008.
