Steven Jackson to miss Miami Dolphins clash

Atlanta Falcons running back Steven Jackson has been ruled out his side's clash with the Miami Dolphins this week.

The 30-year-old suffered a thigh injury during his side's win over the St Louis Rams at the Georgia Dome and could be out for two weeks.

Head coach Mike Smith told reporters: "It's short term. Don't know if that's two or three weeks."

Jackson has rushed for 77 yards in two games for the Falcons this season.
