Great Britain pairing Andrew Young and Andrew Musgrave have been forced to pull out of the men's team sprint cross-country due to medical reasons.

Young, who has tachycardia - a condition which speeds up the rate of the heart - had to finish on the second lap of the semi-final along with teammate Musgrave.

Germany, Czech Republic, Finland and Russian Federation all secured automatic qualification for the final, with Sweden, Kazakhstan, the United States and France taking the fastest loser spots.
