Fifteen-year-old Rebekah Tiler narrowly misses out on weightlifting medal

Rebekah Tiler misses out on a medal in the women's -63kg weightlifting event after lifting a weight of 209kg.

England's Rebekah Tiler has narrowly missed out on a medal in the women's -69kg weightlifting.

The 15-year-old twice failed to lift 123kg in the clean and jerk, which would have been enough to see her place among the medals.

As it was Tiler lifted a total weight of 209kg to finish in fourth place, behind Canada's Marie-Josee Ares-Pilon.

Marie Fegue of Cameroon took gold at the Clyde Auditorium with a total of 234kg, while Itohan Ebireguesele added a silver medal to Nigeria's collection.
