Jo-Wilfried Tsonga advances to fourth round at Wimbledon

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga moves into the fourth round at Wimbledon with a straight-sets win over Jimmy Wang.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga has booked a place in the fourth round at Wimbledon following a 6-2 6-2 7-5 victory over Jimmy Wang.

The Frenchman, who will face Novak Djokovic in the next round, got off to a positive start by earning an early break point in the opening set to take a 2-1 lead.

Despite losing his serve, Tsonga was able to break back to remain on top and take a one-set lead at the All England Club.

After breaking Wang at the first time of asking in the second set, Tsonga salvaged four break points in his opening service game as the 29-year-old tried to launch a comeback.

However, it wasn't to be as Tsonga grabbed another break point to extend his lead before heading into the third set, which went by the way of serve in the first 10 games.

It took just one break point, which Tsonga battled for, to push him on to win the set and wrap up the match.
