Yaroslava Shvedova pulls out with arm injury

Yaroslava Shvedova pulls out of her second-round match with Petra Kvitova at Wimbledon due to an arm injury.

Yaroslava Shvedova has become the latest player to pull out of Wimbledon on Wednesday, the 25-year-old being deemed not fit to face Petra Kvitova on Centre Court.

The pair were due to clash following Andy Murray's meeting with Lu Yen-Hsun and Kvitova will now advance into the third round due to Shvedova's exit.

Early indications on Twitter have suggested that the Kazakh was forced to withdraw with a right-arm injury, although this is unconfirmed.

Six players have exited Wimbledon this afternoon due to injury.
