Marin Cilic recovers to see off Adrian Mannarino at Queen's

Marin Cilic recovers from a second-set collapse to defeat Adrian Mannarino 7-6(3) 3-6 6-2 in the first round at Queen's.

Marin Cilic has made it through to the second round of the Aegon Championships at the Queen's Club after recovering from a second-set collapse to defeat Adrian Mannarino 7-6(3) 3-6 6-2.

The first set saw both players push each other all the way to a tie-break, which the Croatian edged 7-3 after his opponent began on the front foot.

Mannarino went on to shock his opponent in the following set, cruising to a 6-3 win after Cilic's serve was broken early on.

The world number four, however, was able to regroup and destroy the Frenchman's hopes of progressing thanks to a comprehensive 6-2 haul in the third and final set.
