Defending champion Marin Cilic has reached the third round of the Queen's Club Championships with a straight-sets victory over fellow Croatian Ivan Dodig.

World number 12 Cilic needed a single break of serve during the opening set to take it 6-3.

It was a similar story in the second as he earned himself a 5-4 lead before serving out the match with just over an hour played.

Cilic's next opponent will be either 10th seed Julien Benneteau or Feliciano Lopez.
