Victor Estrella Burgos has become the oldest first-time winner on the ATP Tour by beating Feliciano Lopez in the inaugural Ecuador Open.

The Dominican Republic player beat Lopez 6-2 6-7[5] 7-6[5] on the clay courts to win his first ever ATP tournament, aged 34.

Estrella Burgos is ranked 73rd in the world, while Lopez is ranked 14th and has won four ATP events.

Estrella Bourgos was ranked eighth in the tournament.
