David Ferrer: "I played very consistently"

David Ferrer reveals that he is pleased with his performance and the result he produced against Andy Murray this afternoon.

World number five David Ferrer has revealed that he was happy with his performance during his victory over Andy Murray at the ATP World Tour Finals this afternoon.

The Spaniard, who achieved a straight-sets win over Murray, believes that his accurate serving helped him at London's O2 Arena.

"[The win] feels good," Ferrer told Sky Sports News after the match. "I feel sorry for the people and Andy because he is a good friend.

"I played very consistently all through the match. I served well at important moments.

"It is really nice to win here."

Ferrer reached the finals of the competition in 2007.
