Sam Warburton impressed with Wales reaction

Sam Warburton admits that it was a relief to see Wales get back on track with an emphatic win over France on Friday.

Wales captain Sam Warburton has admitted that it was pleasing to see the team recover from a setback to beat France 27-6 in the Six Nations on Friday night.

Warren Gatland's side suffered a disappointing 26-3 defeat to Ireland earlier this month, and Warburton claims that it was a relief to prove their quality in front of the Welsh fans at the Millennium Stadium.

"That was exactly the reaction we were looking for," Warburton, who scored the second try in the win over the French, told reporters. "We knew we had it in us. To do it in front of a home crowd was awesome.

"We said in the week that we don't want to take our places for granted. In the past two weeks it is probably the hardest we have worked in a long time."

Wales face England in their next fixture at Twickenham on March 9.
