England back-row Ben Morgan has signed a new deal with Gloucester Rugby, the club has announced.
The 27-year-old, who has been training with Eddie Jones's side in recent weeks, is now in his fifth season with the Cherry and Whites and has started all seven of their Aviva Premiership games this season.
"It's great to be part of this club, and it's my local club that means a lot to me. I'm absolutely over the moon to sign a new deal," Morgan told the club's website.
"I grew up supporting Gloucester, and it is a special place to play. It helps to have that desire and passion for the club, and the feel of the community at this club is a big thing for me, and a big part of my decision to continue at the club."
David Humphreys, Gloucester's director of rugby, added: "Ben expressed his desire to stay at the club, and we're thrilled that we were able to agree a new deal which will hopefully see him continue to develop even further in a Gloucester shirt.
"We feel that the back row is an area of strength for us, and with the addition of Carl Fearns for next season, Ben will be a key part of that unit bringing real leadership skills to the group."
Gloucester have now agreed deals with four players in as many days, with Willi Heinz, Henry Purdy and Billy Burns also committing to new contracts.
