Defending champions South Africa score 12 tries as they demolish Namibia 87-0.

Defending champions South Africa have continued their 100% start to the Rugby World Cup, seeing off Namibia 87-0.

The Springboks' superior pace and power resulted in them going over 12 times.

They went ahead through a Morne Steyn penalty before first-half tries from Gio Aplon, Bryan Habana and Jaque Fourie.

A period of sustained pressure from the South African pack also earned them a penalty try to give them a 31-0 half-time lead.

The second half continued in much the same manner with Frans Steyn going over in the first 10 minutes of the second period.

Morne Steyn was flawless with the boot and added a second-half try to his kicking performance.

Juan de Jongh went over seconds after coming on as a substitute for his World Cup debut before adding a second soon after.

Aplon added a second, with tireless scrum-half Francois Hougaard also scoring twice late on.

South Africa next face Samoa on Friday, September 30 while Namibia take on Wales in New Plymouth on Monday.
