Saracens fly-half Owen Farrell to return against Clermont Auvergne

Saracens coach Mark McCall reveals that fly-half Owen Farrell 'should be fit' for the team's European Rugby Champions Cup semi-final against Clermont Auvergne in France.

Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall has revealed that Owen Farrell 'should be fit' for next weekend's European Rugby Champions Cup semi-final away to Clermont Auvergne.

The fly-half has been out of action for nearly three months with a knee problem, forcing him to miss England's Six Nations campaign.

However, McCall expects Farrell to be back among his squad for their crucial trip to France on Saturday.

"Owen Farrell should be fine for next week," he told reporters yesterday after his side's 22-6 victory over Leicester Tigers in the Aviva Premiership.

Sarries are currently in second place in the domestic table thanks to four consecutive wins.
