Newport Gwent Dragons run in eight tries as they beat Rugby Mogliano 53-3 in round four of the Amlin Challenge Cup.

Newport Gwent Dragons have hammered Rugby Mogliano 53-3 in round four of the Amlin Challenge Cup at Rodney Parade.

The home side ran in eight tries against the Italians as they picked up their second win of Pool 3.

Scores from Daniel Evans, Michael Poole, Wayne Evans and a penalty try saw the hosts all but seal the win inside the opening 40 minutes.

Daniel Evans added six points with the boot, while Enrico Endrizzi kicked over a solitary penalty for the visitors as Newport went in 26-3 ahead at the break.

Pat Leach, Jonathan Evans, Phil Price and Jack Evans all touched down in the second half to complete the rout with Lewis Robling converting two tries.
