London Irish score seven tries in their 48-28 win over London Welsh in the Aviva Premiership.

London Irish have comfortably beaten London Welsh 45-28 in the Aviva Premiership this afternoon.

Seb Stegmann and Nick Scott helped the visitors to a 15-7 lead, but Halani Aulika and Chris Hala'ufia both scored late in the first half to ensure that Irish went into the break ahead.

Aulika added his second shortly after the restart, before Sailosi Tagicakibau and Matt Garvey helped the hosts to a comfortable lead.

Greg Bateman added a late consolation for Welsh, but the league's bottom side created few chances in the second period.

The win moves London Irish above Sale Sharks into 10th.
