Fiji coach John McKee names a strong squad for the Rugby World Cup with Akapusi Qera continuing as captain.

Fiji head coach John McKee has named an experienced 31-man squad for the Rugby World Cup.

Akapusi Qera, who has 46 caps, will captain the squad while winger Vereniki Goneva and hooker Sunia Koto will be his vice-captains.

"I am very pleased to announce a very strong and experienced team to represent Fiji at RWC2015," John McKee told Fiji Rugby's official website.

"After the successful Pacific Nations Cup campaign and current training camp here in Fiji the squad is working well towards the challenges ahead in the UK.

"With this talented group of rugby players, fiercely proud of representing their country, I believe we have a team of players who will bring their best game to the biggest contest in international rugby."
