Bath winger Semesa Rokoduguni called up to England squad

Bath's Semesa Rokoduguni is named in the England squad for their Autumn Internationals.

Bath winger Semesa Rokoduguni has earned his first call-up to the England squad for their Autumn Internationals.

The 27-year-old, who is a serving Lance Corporal with the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards, has been in impressive form for the West Country outfit in the Aviva Premiership this season.

Saracens lock George Kruis is also named in the senior squad for the first time, while Bath's Jonathan Joseph replaces injured Leicester Tigers centre Manu Tuilagi.

However, Danny Cipriani, Freddie Burns and Chris Ashton all miss out for England, who will be captained by Harlequins flanker Chris Robshaw.

"The first six rounds of the Premiership and opening round of European action have given us plenty to think about as coaches with a lot of players putting their hand up for selection and we are excited by the options available to us," coach Stuart Lancaster told Englandrugby.com.

"We are still monitoring a number of players injury-wise and with another intensive round of European games to come, including the Wasps-Harlequins and Sale-Clermont games on Sunday, there are likely to be additions to the squad after the weekend as we move into the training camp and towards the games - so there is plenty to be decided before the New Zealand match comes around."

England are next in action on November 8 when they welcome world champions New Zealand to Twickenham Stadium.

England squad: Marler, Mullan, Hartley, Webber, Brookes, Wilson, Attwood, Kruis, Launchbury, Lawes, Clark, Haskell, Morgan, Robshaw, Vunipola, Wood; Care, Dixon, Youngs, Farrell, Ford, Myler, Barritt, Burrell, Eastmond, Joseph, Twelvetrees, Brown, Goode, May, Nowell, Rokoduguni, Yarde
