Lewis Moody and Courtney Lawes have their fines reduced for wearing branded mouthguards at the Rugby World Cup.

Lewis Moody and Courtney Lawes have had their fines reduced after they wore branded mouthguards during England's Rugby World Cup quarter-final against France.

The players, who were originally fined £10,000, will now have to pay £7,500 and £6,500 respectively.

Both men breached the strict Rugby World Cup commercial rules in New Zealand.

The reduction is a rare piece of positive news for the RFU after damning reports of England's World Cup campaign were leaked to the press.
