Forward Greg Burke signs a new deal with Wigan Warriors that could potentially run until 2017.

Greg Burke has committed his future to Super League side Wigan Warriors by signing a new contract until the summer of 2016.

His previous deal was due to expire later in 2013, but the forward will now spend the next three years at the DW Stadium, with the option in place to extend his stay by a further 12 months.

"As a local lad I am proud to play for Wigan and I am thrilled to have signed a deal for the next three season with the club," Burke told the club's official website.

"I have really enjoyed my opportunities in the first team so far and am looking forward to continue to work hard and try to earn my place as a regular within the squad."

The 20-year-old, who made his debut in 2011, has made 11 appearances this season.
