Cameron Phelps scored a dramatic late try to give Widnes Vikings a 26-22 victory over Huddersfield Giants.
Widnes had led for much of the match and had opened up a 20-12 lead, only for Huddersfield to hit back with ten points within a matter of minutes.
However, Phelps restored Widnes' advantage with a late try to see them move off the bottom of the Super League table.
Patrick Ah Van, Rhys Hanbury, and Ben Cross all scored tries for Widnes to open up a 16-6 lead.
However, David Fa'alogo went over to add to Dale Ferguson's earlier try to bring Huddersfield back to 16-12 at the break.
Ah Van extended the Vikings' lead to eight points with two second-half penalties, but Scott Grix's try, which was converted by Danny Brough, reduced the deficit to 20-18.
All of a sudden, Huddersfield were in the ascendancy and Brough completed the comeback with a further two penalties.
However, Phelps dramatically sealed victory for Widnes late on to restore their lead, and a further Ah Van conversion sealed just their third Super League win of the season.
