Harrison Hansen cleared for Challenge Cup final

A Rugby Football League disciplinary committee clears Wigan's Harrison Hansen to play in the Challenge Cup final on Saturday.

Wigan Warriors' Harrison Hansen has been found not guilty of a Grade B offence and can take his place in Saturday's Challenge Cup final at Wembley.

The 25-year-old had been charged with the offence for making dangerous contact during Wigan's 60-12 victory over Bradford on Friday.

However, a Rugby Football League disciplinary committee found the second row forward not guilty and he is now free to take his place in Wigan's Challenge Cup final team to face Leeds Rhinos on Saturday.

Hansen's inclusion leaves Warriors coach Michael Maguire with a tough decision about who to pick for his pack this weekend.

"I've got a pretty tough job in picking which squad I'm going to go with, with all the players I've got available," said Maguire.

"Telling someone they're not playing is probably the worst thing as a coach you have to do."

Wigan Warriors have won their last eleven matches ahead of the Challenge Cup final at Wembley on Saturday.
