Laurent Frayssinous delighted to see Scott Dureau back in Super League action

Catalans Dragons head coach Laurent Frayssinous is full of praise for Scott Dureau, claiming that the Australian has shown great character to bounce back in recent times.

Catalans Dragons head coach Laurent Frayssinous has paid tribute to Scott Dureau following his match-winning return to Super League action.

The 28-year-old has been plagued by various injury and health problems over the past two years and kicked a late drop goal against Castleford Tigers to round off a fine individual display on his return.

"Scotty has had a tough last two years, he has come back and said to me that he wants to repay the club," Frayssinous is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

"He has shown how tough he is as a person, he has come back from a lot of adversity and shown character to perform like that. He can still be better, but that was very pleasing from him."

Catalans went on to win yesterday's meeting 13-12 at the Stade Gilbert Brutus to seal their first victory of the 2015 campaign.
