West Ham United striker Carlton Cole makes a suggestive tweet about a fan's mother after he was called "useless".

West Ham United striker Carlton Cole launched a comeback on Twitter to a fan who described the forward as "useless".

The 30-year-old, who was re-signed by the Hammers following his release in the summer, made a suggestive comment about the Twitter user's mother as a response.

Before the Hammers' 3-0 defeat to Chelsea yesterday, the supporter called on manager Sam Allardyce to start the "useless" striker.

As it turned out, Cole was an unused substitute for the game at Upton Park.
