Peter Crouch's wife Abbey confirms 'Strictly Come Dancing' spot

Peter Crouch's wife Abbey announces that she will be featuring in the new BBC series of Strictly Come Dancing.

The wife of Stoke City striker Peter Crouch has announced that she will take part in the new BBC series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Model Abbey, who had been rumoured to be one of the contestants, has admitted that she is "scared" of taking to the dancefloor.

The 27-year-old wrote on Twitter: "Yes it's true I will be doing strictly #terrified #excited #SCD2013.

She added: "I'm soooooooo scared @bbcstrictly #help."

Two-time Major golf champion Tony Jacklin has also been named as a possible contestant.
