Andy Murray receives OBE from Prince William

Wimbledon champion Andy Murray receives his OBE from Prince William at Buckingham Palace.

Wimbledon champion Andy Murray has been presented with his Order of the British Empire medal by Prince William.

It was the first time that the second in the line to the throne had hosted an investiture ceremony.

There was concern that the world number three would be late for the ceremony, having been delayed on his way to Buckingham Palace this morning to take a drugs test.

It was announced that the Scot, who is currently recovering from a back operation, would receive an OBE during the New Years Honours for services to tennis.
