World number one Rory McIlroy has reportedly not split up from his tennis star girlfriend Caroline Wozniacki, despite reports of a possible break-up.
The Northern Irishman sparked controversy when he withdrew from the Honda Classic in Florida midway through the second round after dropping seven shots on his first nine holes due to toothache.
Reports had emerged suggesting that the couple had been going through a difficult time in their relationship, which was part of the reason for McIlroy leaving the course, but these suggestions have been quashed by McIlroy's manager Conor Ridge, according to the Irish Sun.
McIlroy has since admitted that he was wrong to abandon the tournament.
