Four-time World Superbike champion Carl Fogarty has given his approval for The X Factor singer Jake Quickenden to date his 23-year-old daughter Danielle.
Fogarty met Quickenden, 26, in the Australian jungle when both were contestants in ITV's I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here last year.
Fogarty introduced the singer to his daughter shortly after the sportsman was crowned King of the Jungle by viewers.
"I am hook, line and sinker at the moment," Quickenden told the Daily Star. "I can happily say it is love.
"Carl just said he couldn't ask for a better person to see his daughter. He said some lovely things and was pretty happy. I have got the full seal of approval."
Quickenden, who is working on his own album, is due to compete in a charity match at Swansea City's Liberty Stadium in May.
