Olympic gold medallist Jessica Ennis will appear live on stage at the Sheffield City Hall for a series of interviews to raise money for charity.

The 26-year-old will be joined on stage with BBC sports presenter Dan Walker, who, along with Ennis, is a patron of The Children's Hospital Charity, who will benefit from the proceeds of the event.

"The support I've received from the people of Sheffield over my career has been amazing," Ennis told the Postcode Gazette. "It's very fitting that I'm sharing my story with fellow Sheffielder Dan, here in my home city."

Local band Reverend and The Makers will perform during the event, which is due to take place later this month.
