New Zealand's Dan Carter and teammates avoid London traffic with tube trip

New Zealand star Dan Carter joins his teammates as they ride the London Underground in order to avoid traffic.

New Zealand star Dan Carter and a group of his teammates took in the traditions of London by jumping on the Underground in order to avoid traffic on Wednesday.

The team will take on Namibia in a Pool C Rugby World Cup clash this evening at the Olympic Park, but before that, the squad decided to travel around the city.

Carter uploaded a picture of his trip with Julian Savea, Jerome Kaino, Sonny Bill Williams and Kieran Read.

On Twitter, the 33-year-old wrote: "Better than sitting in traffic! #tmt = @jeromekaino @juliansavea7 #reado @SonnyBWilliams just missing big #guzzler."

The All Blacks kicked off their World Cup campaign with a 26-16 victory over Argentina last Sunday.
