Mercedes Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton admits that his father doesn't approve of him getting tattoos.

Mercedes Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton has revealed that his father "doesn't approve" of him covering parts of his body with tattoos.

The 28-year-old, who will line up for Mercedes competitively for the first time since leaving McLaren at the Australian Grand Prix this month, has claimed that his father's opinion won't stop him from getting inked.

"My dad doesn't approve of the tattoos but I don't need approval," the Daily Mail quotes Hamilton as saying.

"I am comfortable with who I am, I don't need someone telling me. If someone doesn't accept me for who I am, that is their problem. You need to be proud of who you are."

Meanwhile, the 28-year-old has revealed that in the future he would like to build a museum to display his trophies.
