Tesco 'investigate' Roy Keane autobiography gaffe

Tesco launches an investigation after one of its stores started selling Roy Keane's autobiography three days before its launch.

Supermarket giant Tesco has launched an investigation after one of its stores started selling Roy Keane's autobiography three days early.

'The Second Half', which contains details about a drink-fuelled fight with Peter Schmeichel among other incidents, was put on shelves at a store in Burnage, Manchester.

"A copy of Roy Keane's book was sold in error at our Burnage store," a Tesco statement read.

"Colleagues are currently investigating how this happened."

Former Manchester United and Republic of Ireland midfielder Keane is currently assistant manager to Paul Lambert at Aston Villa.
