Gary Neville welcomes Jamie Carragher to the Sky Sports punditry team as the Liverpool defender is due to make his TV debut next season.

Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville believes that Liverpool centre-back Jamie Carragher will be a strong addition to the Sky Sports team.

The broadcasters announced today that Carragher will line up alongside Neville, as well as former Liverpool players Jamie Redknapp and Graeme Souness as a pundit next season.

Neville wrote on twitter: "Utd v Liv should be interesting next year- Souness, Redknapp and Carragher!Outnumbered!! Going to need a strong ref!

"And for those asking me, its a very good addition to Sky's team to have Jamie Carragher. Current, No B******t and knows the game!"

Carragher will move into the TV role when he retires from the professional game at the end of the season.
