David Moyes flies to Florida following Manchester United axe

David Moyes spends a number of days in Florida with his wife Pamela following his sacking as Manchester United manager.

David Moyes has been spending the last few days in Florida following his dismissal as Manchester United manager.

The Scotsman was sacked by the Red Devils last Tuesday, less than 10 months after being appointed as Sir Alex Ferguson's successor.

After 15 defeats in all competitions and United's failure to qualify for next season's Champions League, the club opted to make a change and install Ryan Giggs as interim boss until the end of the season.

Following his departure, Moyes jetted to the United States with his wife Pamela and was photographed jogging on Miami beach the day after United secured a 4-0 win over Norwich City at Old Trafford.

Moyes took on the United job after 11 years as Everton manager.
