Luis Suarez lookalike mobbed by Liverpool fans

An Iraqi tourist was reportedly mobbed by Liverpool fans who mistook him for their prolific striker Luis Suarez.

An Iraqi tourist has revealed that he was mobbed by Liverpool fans who mistook him for star striker Luis Suarez.

The man has a striking resemblance to the Uruguayan international, who has been in prolific form for the Merseyside outfit so far this season.

During a visit to Liverpool, the unnamed man, who is a Reds fan himself, managed to meet Suarez's strike partner Daniel Sturridge, but was unable to come face to face with his lookalike.

According to The Express, the man told Iraqi television: "When I was in the UK everyone, even the children, said, 'This is Suarez' – the whole street, and I always say, 'I'm not Suarez.'

"People there are crazy and I have to keep saying 'I'm not Suarez, please don't touch me'."
