It has been confirmed that the inquests into the deaths of 96 Liverpool supporters in the Hillsborough disaster will be held in the North-West.
Some members of the Hillsborough Family Support Group had identified London as their ideal location, while members of the Hillsborough Justice Campaign were keen for them to take place close to, but not in, Liverpool or Manchester.
"I have concluded that it would be right for the inquests to be held in the North-West," said Lord Justice Goldring. "It would not be helpful further to identify a location at this stage."
A new inquest into the 1989 disaster was granted in December 2012.
