Former Chelsea striker Salomon Kalou could be in trouble with the law after he reportedly took a hammer to the Berlin Wall.

The 29-year-old, who signed for Hertha Berlin from Lille last year, is believed to have been filming for a local German TV station to preview his side's match against Schalke 04.

According to Eurosport, during the segment, Kalou agreed to chisel away at a section of the historic wall, and he could now face a fine of around €10,000 (£7,183).

Kalou has scored six goals in 17 matches for the German side.
